Modifying your diet
Lets look at modifying your diet first. You should have a good balance of proteins and carbohydrates. You need to limit your refine foods and focus on eating fresh produce. You should also be lowering your calorie food intake, but do not starve yourself. Your body needs healthy foods to actually help get rid of fat. Just use a common sense approach when eating. Instead of eating chips or cookies for a snack, grab some carrot sticks or an apple. When eating meals, remember you do not need to eat your whole plate. And instead of fast food fries, opt for a side salad instead. These small changes can make a big difference.
Exercising
The next step to getting rid of body fat is to exercise. Exercise helps burn calories, which helps get rid of fat. The amount and types of exercises vary depending on where you want to get rid of your body fat and how much body fat you actually have. When exercising, you should focus on cardio and weights. When you combine these two, you will lose calories quicker and lose body weight faster. If you do not exercise at all, a good starter is walking. Try walking daily for 20 minutes, times a week. Each week you can increase the time and speed of your walk. Even if you are trying to lose weight in your stomach, walking will help. Other good cardio exercises include: running, step aerobics, swimming, tennis, soccer and even dancing. Weight training also helps tone your body and get rid of fat.
